I hate Charlie Brooker

I hate Charlie Brooker.

He's a smug, self satisfied, potato headed, lefty, Guardian reading media luvvy, masquerading as an edgy, confrontational comedian.

Of course, the fact that he's not funny doesn't help.  Neither does the fact that his latest abortion of a programme involves him talking to three people smugger and less funny than him.  I've no idea who they are, as any time I wander onto E4+1 looking for a rerun of Shameless, only to encounter La Brooker, I spend five minutes going "whodafug" in a vain attempt to recognise any of these people.

So I was less than delighted to learn that he is planning a new programme involving him being smug and unfunny to "real people".  I say real people but they're not really real, hence the "", as the invitation to appear on the programme went out on his Twitter account.  Something I believe he mocks in other people.

The show is being made by his own production company, Zeppotron.  Their website happily flags up the fact that it's "an Endemol company".  Endemol being the company that makes Big Brother and many other programmes mocked by La Brooker.

However, turns out that Endemol was bought over when the Spanish telecoms company Telefonica sold 75 per cent of it to a consortium led by Italy’s Mediaset for 2.6 billion euros.

The consortium includes Mediaset and its Spanish unit Gestevision Telecinco, controlled by Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi, the Goldman Sachs bank  and the Dutch investment  vehicle Cyrte.

So Charlie “see me, I’m edgy, confrontational and afraid of no-one” Brooker is in fact, an employee of the fascist Italian sex-offender dwarf (and part-time Italian Prime Minister)  Which means every time he opens his over large mouth on television, he's actually receiving a load directly from Silvio.

Sometimes life is just too good!
